    Shofu Hy-Bond Glasionomer Cx Glass Ionomer Luting Cement

    Shofu Hy-Bond Glass Ionomer Cement is a type of luting cement used in dentistry for the permanent cementation of metal and porcelain fused to metal crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and orthodontic bands.It is a high-strength, dual-cured glass ionomer cement that is easy to handle and has a working time of 1 minute and a setting time of 3 minutes. The cement is radiopaque, allowing for easy detection on X-rays, and is fluoride-releasing, providing additional protection against tooth decay.

    The Hy-Bond cement is designed to bond chemically to the tooth structure and metal, providing a durable, long-lasting seal. It has excellent adhesion to dentin and enamel, and its low solubility ensures a strong bond between the tooth and restoration.

    • Permanent cementation of cast metal, porcelain fused to metal (PFM) crown & bridge restorations

    • 1 x 15g Powder
    • 1 x 10g (8.3ml) Liquid

    Shofu Hy - Bond Glasionomer Cement Cx 1-1 Pack:

    • 1 x 45g Powder
    • 1 x 30g (25ml) Liquid

    • Preparation: Prepare the tooth or teeth to receive the restoration according to standard procedures, and clean and dry the area to be restored.
    • Mixing: Mix the glass powder and liquid solution according to the manufacturer's instructions, using a mixing pad and spatula.
    • Application: Apply the cement to the restoration, and carefully seat the restoration onto the prepared tooth or teeth, using firm pressure to ensure proper fit.
    • Cleanup: Remove any excess cement from around the restoration, and cure the cement using a curing light if necessary.
    • Finishing: Finish and polish the restoration as needed, and instruct the patient on any post-operative care instructions.
