This product features an optimal viscosity that allows for precise placement and superior control during application. Its unique self-limiting chemistry ensures a controlled depth of etch on dentin, averaging 1.9 μm with a 15-second application, reducing the risk of overetching and creating an ideal surface for resin bonding.

The Ultra-Etch Indispense Refill is specifically formulated to penetrate even the smallest fissures and occlusal surfaces, promoting capillary action without running on vertical surfaces or drying prematurely. This capability ensures thorough coverage and maximizes bonding strength.

INDICATIONS:

Ultra-Etch can be placed in any location, including lingual approaches to Class III restorations.
It works nicely for etching before bonding composites, sealants, or adhesives.

Prepare the Area: Ensure the tooth surface is clean and free from debris or contaminants.
Dispensing: Attach the Blue Micro™ Tip or Inspiral Brush tip to the Ultradent Ultra-Etch Indispense Refill bottle.
Application: Apply a sufficient amount of Ultra-Etch etchant to the desired tooth surface. Use precise placement techniques to ensure even coverage.
Etching Time: Allow the etchant to remain on the tooth surface for the recommended etching time, typically 15 seconds for dentin.
Rinsing: Thoroughly rinse the etched area with water to remove the etchant completely. Ensure no residue remains on the tooth surface.
Optional Salts Removal: If using Ultra-Etch etchant to remove salts from etched porcelain, apply for 5 seconds and then rinse thoroughly.
Dry the Area: Use gentle air drying or a lint-free applicator to dry the treated area.
Proceed with Bonding: Once the tooth surface is adequately prepared and dried, proceed with the bonding procedure as per your standard protocol.
Clean Up: Close the Ultra-Etch Indispense Refill bottle securely after use to prevent evaporation or contamination.
Storage: Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
