MDM Ortho Waxoffers soothing relief and prevents gum irritation caused by braces and other dental appliances. Made from medical-grade paraffin-based wax, it is a safe and natural choice for patients. The wax maintains a solid form at room temperature but becomes pliable with the warmth of your hands, allowing for easy and tailored application. Once applied, it adheres gently to your braces, creating a soft and comfortable barrier between brackets and gum tissue. Its smooth texture ensures unparalleled comfort, allowing you to carry on with daily activities without irritation. It provides steadfast protection, delivering continuous relief for your gums.

  • Material: Medical-grade paraffin-based wax
  • Form: Solid at room temperature, pliable when warmed
  • Application: Easy and tailored application with the warmth of hands
  • Function: Creates a soft barrier between braces and gums
  • Comfort: Smooth texture for unparalleled comfort
  • Adhesion: Stays securely in place for continuous protection
  • Safety: Natural and safe for oral use

  • 1 x Ortho wax

  • Brush Your Teeth: Carefully brush your teeth to remove any food particles, especially around the area where you will apply the wax
  • Dry the Braces: Use a tissue to dry the braces thoroughly. A completely dry area ensures the wax adheres longer
  • Prepare the Wax: Wash and dry your hands. Take a small piece of wax and roll it into a ball shape, about the size of a pea or popcorn kernel. Roll the wax for at least 5 seconds to soften it
  • Locate Irritation Points: Identify the area causing discomfort. If it's hard to see, pull your cheek out and look for swollen or red spots, or gently probe with your tongue or fingers
  • Apply the Wax: Press the wax ball over the wire or bracket causing irritation. For areas at the back of your mouth, push the wax as far as you can, then use your tongue and forefinger to position it
  • Secure the Wax: Rub the wax a few times to ensure it adheres properly, forming a small bump
  • Replace as Needed: Remove the wax before eating or brushing your teeth and reapply fresh wax as necessary

Note: Remove the wax before eating or brushing your teeth and reapply fresh wax as necessary.
